The Washington County Heartland Youth Coalition was developed as a community network for the purpose of sharing resources and information between individuals and agencies.
The coalition strives to understand the needs of the community in order to assist in the development and implementation of strategies that will decrease the use of alcohol, tobacco, other drugs and violence as well as the incidences of teen sexual involvement among the youth in Washington County.
Our mission is to facilitate a partnership between agencies, adults and youth which utilizes and creates resources to deter the use of alcohol, tobacco, other drugs and violence among youth and to reduce the incidence of teen sexual involvement.
